Role and Responsibilities
As a Probate Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant, you will support our attorneys in providing top-notch legal services to our clients. Your duties will include:
- Attorney Support: Assist attorneys with case preparation and management.
- Case Management: Organize and maintain case files, calendars, tasks, and documents. Ensure timely filing of necessary documents and manage hearing notices, proof of service, and orders.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations to assist in developing case strategies.
- Factual Research and Investigation: Perform research on real property records, corporate entities, and backgrounds.
- Document Preparation: Prepare legal documents including petitions, complaints, discovery requests, disclosure statements and trial exhibits.
- Discovery Process: Draft and respond to interrogatories, requests for documents, and admissions.
- Client Communication and Support: Act as a point of contact for clients, providing updates and gathering information.
- Trial Preparation: Assist in organizing and reviewing evidence, preparing trial exhibits, and coordinating with witnesses.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative duties including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, billing, and maintaining case management systems.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Arizona Legal Assistant with civil litigation experience, preferably in probate, trust, estate, guardianship, conservatorship, or vulnerable adult controversies.
- Education: Associate degree required; paralegal degree preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office with at least 5 years of experience. Preferred experience with Clio Manage. Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.

- Competitive pay: $62,400 – $78,000 per year (equivalent to $30.00 – $37.50 per hour)
