Agent’s extreme act to sell home with showgirls, Indiana Jones


A real estate agent on The Central Coast has taken property marketing to a new level, starring in a cinematic listing video that features everything from jungle adventures to cabaret showgirls.

The promotional video for the $3 million estate in Wamberal, now gaining traction on social media, showcases the agent donning multiple personas.

They include an Indiana Jones-style explorer navigating the home’s forested backyard and a sharply dressed dancer performing alongside cabaret performers.

The agent Josh Horner of The Horner Agency also parodies action movie tropes and dances throughout much of the video while talking about the features of the home.

He even sings in a parody of The Sound of Music, saying “the hills are alive … with opportunity”.

“I’ve got the gnome, now it’s your turn to get the home,” he later says while dressed as a character in the vein of Indiana Jones.

Other moments are more obscure, with the agent opening the door to the owner of the home holding a watermelon and, later, a showgirl flapping her legs in the bathtub.

“The longer the driveway the louder the applause,” Mr Horner pronounces near the beginning of the video.

The high-production-value clip blends humour, choreography, and a tongue-in-cheek narrative as the agent highlights the home’s features through various costume changes and dramatic scenes.

While property videos have become increasingly creative in the competitive real estate market, this one has struck a particular chord online.

The property is on 5 acres.


Viewers in the comments have praised the agent’s dedication and flair, calling it “absolutely awesome,” and “hilarious”.

The video ends with a discussion between the agent and the seller of the home about some of its finer points. The five acre estate includes a saltwater pool, sports court and triple garage.

The campaign appears to be part of a growing trend among real estate professionals to create viral moments in a saturated digital landscape.

Whether the over-the-top video will help close the sale remains to be seen, but it has certainly succeeded in grabbing attention.
