Local family snag ex-Carlton boss Mark LoGiudice’s home in Kew for more than $8m

Former Carlton president Mark LoGiudice and wife Eli have sold their family home for more than $8m.
A Kew family-of-five has forked out more than $8m for the luxurious home of former Carlton president Mark LoGiudice.
Marshall White agent James Tostevin said the four main prospective buyers, including the local family, were looking to “trade up”.
“The buyers were a local family that live in Kew with three children,” he said.

“It’s definitely a family home, so it was always going to be a family that bought it.
“Anyone looking at the house was trading up.”
Mr LoGiudice, who spent eight years as the Blues’ president before hanging up the boots in 2021, earlier told the Herald Sun he and wife Eli planned to downsize now their three sons had moved out.
Property agent James Tostevin said all prospective buyers of the six-bedroom home were looking to “trade up”.

The two-storey home, built 20 years ago and designed by architect Robert Simeoni, features six spacious bedrooms, five bathrooms, an underground wine cellar and a three-car garage.
With high ceilings, glass walls, and sky lights, Mr Tostevin said the Kew home made optimal use of space and light, as requested by Mr and Mrs LoGiudice during its design.

The property is ideal for entertaining guests, with multiple areas for groups inside and out.
“It’s one of those homes that’s really deceptive from the street,” he said.
“The proportions of the rooms, the setting out the back, the pool, the cabana, the grass area, it’s just such an impressive family home.
“Buyers loved the sheer proportions, the zoning, the natural light.
“There’s not one dark spot in that house.”

While Mr Tostevin declined to comment on the property’s sale price, industry sources confirmed it sold at the “top end” of its $8m-$8.5m price tag on March 3.
Mr LoGiudice is no stranger to the property game, working in one of his many roles outside of the AFL as managing director of Melbourne-based, family-run property development and investment company Crawfords Group.
