How to earn 500 bonus points with Hyatt

Earning your 500 bonus points at new Hyatt hotels is simple. You don’t need to enroll in advance through any special link or use a special booking code.

Even better: Stays using points or free night awards are also eligible to earn the bonus points. That means you don’t have to pay cash for your stay to earn your 500 points. Remember, too, that this offer is available to all members, regardless of status level.

However, there are some important terms you should know about:

  • You must stay on an “eligible rate” as defined in the World of Hyatt terms. This means discounted rates for employees, groups or other special offers not available to the public are not eligible.
  • Your checkout date must be within the listed promotion dates for that hotel.
  • Blackout periods may apply during special events, and these vary by hotel.
  • You can only earn the bonus points on one room per stay, no matter how many rooms you book.
  • Bonus points only apply to the room the World of Hyatt member stays in.
  • You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at check-in to receive the bonus points.
  • Allow up to four weeks to receive the bonus points.

These bonus points are on top of your other earnings, which can vary based on your World of Hyatt status. Additionally, make sure to use a credit card to help maximize your earnings on hotel stays if paying cash for your room rate.

Lastly, if any of these new hotels belong to Hyatt brands you haven’t stayed at previously, you can earn the 500 bonus points and a Brand Explorer credit on a single stay. This will accelerate your earnings toward even more free nights in the future.
