The State of CSS 2024 survey is now live! We’d love you to take the
survey
, and
this post explains how we use the results and why we think it’s important that
as many developers as possible take part.

Our aim as the Chrome team is to make the web better and to improve the
experience of developing for the web. We do this with
Baseline, Interop
2024
, new features we implement in Chrome and
help design through standards processes. In all of these things, we want to put
the needs of developers front and center, and we use various methods to learn
what’s important to you.

In the past few years, one of those methods has been surveys such as the State
of CSS. These surveys let you tell us exactly what you are using, and what you
want to use but can’t due to bugs or lack of support. They help us to see the
places where more learning materials might be helpful, or which things we should
prioritize for implementation in the browser.

It’s important to us that the surveys get responses from the broadest range of
developers possible. This helps us take into account the needs of developers all
over the world, working in every type of company, and on every kind of site and
app.

As well as helping us to know how to help you, and where to focus efforts,
there’s a more immediate benefit to you with these surveys. Take a look at the
results from the 2023 survey, and you’ll
find out which features people are most interested in, and the resources they
are using to learn. By completing the survey and then exploring the results you
can discover new features for your projects. CSS is changing so quickly, it’s
easy to miss that something has become available.

Take the
survey
today,
and let us know what’s important to you in CSS.
